Emma still had that gentle look, that Sunday-school smile that made you think she could never tell a lie. The tickles landed, and she opened wide, laughed loud, the kind of laugh that shakes a room and a reputation. Her torso jumped with every touch, like her body was trying to run without moving. She wasn’t in control, not for a second, and the laugh made sure she knew it.

Then they got tickled for the first time, and the laugh ripped out of her. Not a dainty giggle, no, this was raw, desperate, out of place on a woman who carried herself like a queen. But her laugh was the price, her dignity the offering. The tickle gods don’t take no for an answer. They got their tribute, and Selene gave it loud.

The first tickle landed, and her laugh exploded out louder than she wanted anyone to hear. She squirmed, twisted, shook her head, eyes begging her own body to stop betraying her. But the tickling didn’t quit, and neither did her laugh. That goddess act cracked in real time. Then her eyes flicked to the camera, wide, panicked, like she just realized it was all being filmed.

The massage started high, shoulders, ribs, light enough to pass for kindness. But kindness don’t last. The laugh cracked through, raw, out of place on a woman who lived her life behind glass. Then came the feet, bare, high-arched, smooth, and just like that, Abril cracked.
